ISDC 2027's theme is "At Home on the Moon." We've entered a decade in which living and working on the Moon will soon become a reality. We achieved great things during the Apollo program: six lunar landings, and a legacy that helped launch a new age of space exploration. As John F. Kennedy said in 1961, setting that first lunar age in motion, "Now it is time to take longer strides." That's exactly what we're witnessing today, as space agencies, international partners, and commercial entrepreneurs around the world work side by side to return humanity to the Moon, this time to stay. That's what the ISDC is: a gathering of astronauts, space agency professionals, industry leaders, academics, scientists, and space enthusiasts from across the globe, joining to learn, collaborate, and grow through the largest space conference of its kind.
