Dame Commander Susan Jewell, MD, is a space medicine scientist, analog astronaut, pioneering visionary, and exponential tech entrepreneur. CEO of AvatarMEDIC (an XPRIZE alumnus developing real-time, immersive healthcare Medtech solutions) and MMAARS, a vanguard in analog astronautics since 2014. She innovates solutions by integrating frontier technologies and testing during in-person analog astronaut simulation missions in remote, austere environments. A certified AFWERX Space coach by US Space Force. Susna received two knighthoods from the Royal Houses of Georgia and Montegro. She is a Frontier Fellow trained under NASA TRISH grant mentoring early scientists, a UNOOSA Space4Women mentor. She received an ISDC Award for Pioneering Multi-Planetary Settlements. Trained in molecular medicine and clinical research in drug discovery at the National Cancer Institute, NIH. She obtained degrees from Aston University, Ross University, International Space University, Singularity University, and Draper University. Susan is shaping the future of space health, human exploration, and space settlement.
