Currently serving as the President of the International Space Elevator Consortium (ISEC), he is also the Senior Vice President at Galactic Harbour Associates, a company leveraging permanent space transportation infrastructure for interplanetary adventures.
As the CEO of Zodiac Planetary Services since 2018, Dr. Swan leads efforts in prospecting the Moon and contributes to the ongoing silent revolution in commercial space ventures. His role as a Lecturer and Faculty Associate at the ASU — Osher Lifelong Learning Institute showcases his dedication to educating others on movement off-planet, the econosphere between Earth and the Moon, and space resource mining.
Dr. Swan’s contributions extend to the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA), where he has edited major study reports on space elevators and space mineral resources. His vast experience includes significant roles in organizations such as AF (20 years), IRIDIUM (10 years), TSTI (10 years), and his current positions at ASU and GHa.
Notable Publications: Dr. Swan has authored, co-authored, and edited several books, including “Space Elevator Architecture and Roadmaps,” “Space Elevators Systems Architecture,” and “Today’s Space Elevator,” among others.
