Ronit is an undergraduate student at Duke University studying Physics and Computer Science with concentrations in Astrophysics and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning. He twice-interned at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory in its Remote Sensing division and founded the first space conference for high school students, Space Summit DC. Ronit is the astrophotography lead of Duke’s Stargazing Devils Astronomy Club and conducts research under the Physics department helping improve dark matter detection with particle accelerators. Over the summer, he is continuing to engage in science policy advocacy and research as part of the university’s DukeEngage program.
