Joseph is the Chair of ACES Worldwide. He is the Dean Emeritus of the International Space University and the Past Chair of the Board. He is the author of some 70 books on space and technology with one Pulitzer nomination. He is the former Director of Strategic Policy at Intelsat. Joseph is a member of the International Academy of Astronautics. He is the founder of the Arthur C. Clarke Foundation. He was the founding President of Space & Satellite Professionals International. Joseph is a Fellow of the International Association for the Advancement of Space Safety. He serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Space Safety Engineering and is on the Editorial Board of Space Policy. He is a retired professor at George Washington University and the former director of the Space and Advanced Communications Research Institute at GW. He is featured in Who’s Who in America.
