John has held positions in Quality Engineering and Management in the defense and medical device industries in Silicon Valley for 40 years. John was hooked on space advocacy after reading the High Frontier and became a Senior Associate of the Space Studies Institute since its early days. Currently retired, he is on the Advisory Board for The Space Show and advocates for space settlement through his blog Space Settlement Progress.
