Ari Eisenstat is an International Futurist at the University of Hawai’i – Research Center for Future Studies and Matsunaga Institute for Peace & Conflict Resolution. As an Instructor in Human Rights, Human Spaceflight, Space Exploration Technology, Earth Science and Astrobiology, Ari designs courses and research on the future of humanity on Earth and beyond.
Ari serves as Chair of the Advisory Board of ‘Space for Humanity,’ with the mission of sending purpose-driven leaders to space, and has presented for programs hosted at the White House, US House of Representatives, NASA Houston, Mountain View, & Cape Canaveral.
Ari produces outer space innovation and advocacy events through the United Nations Association-USA, International Eclipse Festivals (Iceland-Eclipse.com), Nexus Global Summit, and NASA-affiliated research at UH. His programs bring together leading astronauts, UN officials, policymakers, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and artists to shape transformational space futures.
With experience across public, private, and nonprofit sectors, Ari has led forums at UN agencies in New York, Geneva, and Vienna; UN climate summits in Marrakech and Bonn; and the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates in Bogotá and Mérida. He has lectured at universities including Harvard, Stanford, MIT, Penn, Duke, UC Berkeley, NYU, and globally.
Ari’s broader work includes board stewardship, futures consulting, event design, strategic advising, venture philanthropy, impact investing, and creative media for innovative initiatives.
