Dr. Zsófia Biró, PhD, LL.M. is a space policy expert and legal scholar with an interdisciplinary background in law, economics, finance, and innovation. She holds a PhD in Law, an LL.M. in Energy Law, an MSc in Finance, and specialized postgraduate qualifications in energy management and space policy.
As a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the University of Mississippi Center for Air and Space Law, she conducts comparative research on U.S. space legislation and institutional practices, with the aim of identifying best practices relevant for emerging space nations.
She currently serves as Innovation Lead and Research Fellow at the University of Pécs Faculty of Law, where her research focuses on space law, energy law.
Dr. Biró is actively involved in national and international research projects and professional organizations, including the Space Generation Advisory Council, the Hungarian Astronautical Society, and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
