Yug Raman Srivastava is an early-career researcher dedicated to the field of space settlement and sustainable off-Earth habitats. Currently, he is studying myco-architecture within the scope of Martian settlements, concentrating on the concept of utilizing the compositions of fungi as self-generative, radiation shielding, in-situ resource utilization material. He is particularly fascinated with the crossover between biology, materials science, and space engineering, with a long-term goal of developing new pathways to sustain human life beyond the Earth. He has adequately represented and published on a variety of topics in premier platforms, revealing that there is versatility and curiosity across topic categories. Long-term goal of Yug’s is to contribute towards a creative paradigm for building resilient, self-sustaining infrastructure for the exploration and colonization of other planetary bodies.
