Jessica Jelke is a three-time NASA JPL intern, NASA grant award recipient, and a 2022 Astronaut Scholar. After graduating from the University of Washington’s Astronomy and Physics Departments, Jessica began working as an Educator at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Jessica is pursuing her Master’s in International Science & Technology Policy at George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs, specializing in Space Policy. During graduate school and beyond, she hopes to pursue internship or employment opportunities in the space industry, with particular interest in space debris remediation and the integration of policy into space sustainability solutions.
