Dennis Stone is VP-Business Development of Vast, developer of commercial space stations. Vast’s Haven-1 is scheduled to be the world’s first commercial space station with launch as early as August 2025. He retired in 2023 after 38 years at NASA where he helped NASA transition from an owner/operator to one of many customers of cargo, crew, and LEO destination services. Over the span of his NASA career, Dennis led business evaluations resulting in $1.6 billion of NASA investment in the commercial space sector. He also supported the early development of ISS. Mr. Stone serves as volunteer President of World Space Week Association, global coordinator of UN-declared World Space Week held every October 4-10. The biggest space event on Earth, World Space Week last year included over 16,000 events in over 80 nations.
