Space Conference Speaker

Since 2011, Ken Ruffin, a former aerospace engineering student, has essentially been the president of the National Space Society of North Texas (NSS-NT) presenting to well over 200 audiences on present and anticipated space missions, to attendees of all ages. Ken has launched NSS-NT to earn the “NSS Chapter of the Year Award” six years, as well as to earn the “NSS Excellence in Public Outreach Award” six other years, therefore earning either of the top two NSS worldwide chapter awards during the twelve consecutive years from 2013-2024, inclusive. Also, Ken was awarded the “NSS Chapter Leader Award” in 2018 and in 2023. Additionally, Ken has been reelected to the NSS Board of Directors, he has been appointed to the NSS Board of Advisors, and he is an active NSS Space Ambassador. Last but not least, Ken contracts with organizations within and adjacent to the space industry, providing outreach to inform the public about the products they develop and/or the services they provide.
