Jordan Noone is the Co-Founder and General Partner at Embedded Ventures, along with Co-Founder Jenna Bryant. Launched in 2020, Embedded Ventures is a next generation venture capital firm investing in early-stage deep tech startups. With a thesis that takes a commercial-first approach to investing in early-stage startups with applications that can serve the Department of Defense, Embedded has a first-of-its-kind partnership with the United States Space Force. The firm invests in pre-seed, seed and Series A rounds for startups focused on space operations, digital engineering, and advanced manufacturing. Embedded Ventures has announced investments in Akash Systems, Anduril, Chromatic 3D Materials, Inversion, OurSky, Slingshot Aerospace, Skyryse and Zoo. In addition to his role at Embedded, Jordan is Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of portfolio company Zoo, the world’s only company to develop advanced tools for hardware design. In 2015 at 22 years old, Jordan started Relativity Space, which was most recently valued at $4.2B. As Relativity’s CTO for five years, Jordan focused on technical direction and engineering design, including: developing printing technology, launch vehicle design, propulsion design, software development, infrastructure development, and government affairs. Jordan also led many Relativity initiatives including: expansion of Relativity’s Stargate Factory into the rest of aerospace manufacturing, Relativity’s strategy for expanding printing technology off-planet; and the ability of Relativity’s factory to flexibly scale to a wide range of rocket sizes. As leader of USC’s Rocket Propulsion Lab, Jordan became the first student and youngest individual in the world to receive Federal Aviation Administration clearance to fly a rocket into space.
