Space Elevators
Past President of the International Space Elevator Consortium, ISEC’s Chief Architect, and Board Member of Space Elevator Development Corporation. As such, he leads teams who further the Space Elevator concept with incremental studies and yearly conferences. Over the last 20 years he has published many books on the topic as author, co-author, and/or co-editor. He is a fullmember of the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA). Pete received his Ph.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles in Mechanical Engineering. He is a Fellow of the BIS and the AIAA.
