Sergio Lucero is a 1995 Aerospace Engineering graduate of the University of Notre Dame with graduate training from the Master of Science in Systems Engineering Program at the University of Texas at El Paso. He has over 28 years of space industry experience which includes designing new technologies for NASA’s space transportation vehicles, managing projects for science research and space exploration, and training the new generation of systems engineers for NASA’s deep space exploration and human space flight programs. As Chief Operations Officer for Stellar Access, Sergio is building the demand for space while bringing space and lunar access to every neighborhood. Stellar Access connects non-traditional space businesses with space industry opportunities, incubates ideas and companies with the emerging space marketplaces, and creates the demand for space via strong business partnerships. With the management of the DISTILL Innovation Center at the Houston Spaceport, Stellar Access has positioned itself as the premier provider of space resources and assets by building a network and community that will extend beyond the walls of DISTILL to capture our collaborative space expertise and enable access to space for all!
