Dr. Harney earned her MD and specialization in Psychiatry from First Pavlov State Medical University, Russia. After relocating to the US, she has been actively collaborating with MMAARS, INC., successfully completing five Analog Astronaut missions and leading research in space medicine. Dr. Harney demonstrates expertise in developing triage protocols, conducting human factors research, training crews, and integrating advanced technologies during analog missions. She has presented at over 30 global conferences and established the S.T.E.A.M. for Humanity Foundation, dedicated to promoting STEAM disciplines. Serving as secretary of the LSBEB for the Aerospace Medical Association (AsMA), she makes substantial contributions to the fields of life sciences and biomedical engineering.
