Ana Carolina de Souza-Feliciano is an Associate Professor at the Florida Space Institute. Carol de Souza-Feliciano’s main scientific interest is the characterization of the surface properties of smaller bodies in the Solar System through an observational perspective. She has been deeply involved in the study of the surface composition of trans-Neptunian objects (TNOs), small bodies in the Solar System that lie beyond Neptune. In particular, she is interested in better understanding the diversity of the entire population using both ground-based and space-based facilities. Because of this, she is involved in several projects using the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST).
