Sadiya Ahmad is a Ph.D. student of Computer Science at Iowa State University with a diverse academic foundation and a passion for interdisciplinary research. Her previous research includes work on high-performance computing and energy efficient scheduling. She has a keen interest in building efficient, sustainable systems for scientific and industrial applications. She is an active member of SEDS (USA) and National Space Society (NSS). She earned the Outstanding Performance Award at NSS 2023 spUN Debate and serves as a reviewer for ISS Research and Development Conference (ISSRDC) Technical Sessions. She is currently working on an astronomy project inspired by a photograph she captured during the total solar eclipse on April 8th, 2024.
