Dr. Sheer Abbas is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the College of Law, University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. He holds a Ph.D. in International Space Law from the School of Law at Beijing Institute of Technology, China. His academic and professional journey has been enriched by a diverse and multidimensional career that bridges law, science, and public service.
Throughout his academic career, he has published numerous research papers in reputable international journals, focusing on areas that intersect global legal systems and technological advancement. His research interests include International Air and Space Law, Public International Law, Criminal Law, and the integration of Technology in Agriculture.
Before transitioning to academia, he served in various significant roles, including as a Public Prosecutor, Agricultural Officer, and Scientific Officer. These roles not only broadened his perspective but also deepened his understanding of legal, scientific, and administrative frameworks in both national and international contexts.
His commitment to legal education and interdisciplinary research continues to drive his contributions to academia and public discourse. He aims to inspire students and researchers to explore the evolving dimensions of international law in the context of science, technology, and sustainable development.
