Flight System Development Forum

Mission Development Forum

Flight System Development Forum

The purpose of the presentation/panel is to layout the fundamental criteria for flight system development, establish the context of available/envisioned flight systems, and characterize the NASA Space Launch System as it stands.

Mission Development Forum

The purpose of the mission development forum is to draw out what is known about potential missions and the infrastructure needed to enable them. The point being that in the continuum between the genesis of new ideas and formal policy we need to be able to have ongoing systems engineering discussions which engage the potential communities of interest. From a top-down perspective any potential mission can and necessarily should be related to one or more of the overarching missions/goals/motivations for human endeavors in space.

During this forum, the distinguished panel of space systems managers, engineers and scientists along with the champions of various missions/relevant infrastructure will speak their minds in an earnest exploration of the ideas presented. A hearing format is envisioned with the champion and his/her team giving an initial presentation and responding to questions from the panel.

Additional information on attendees will be published as they are confirmed. Both forums are open to conference attendees.
