The International Space Development Conference (ISDC) is the annual conference of the National Space Society. This year we are proud to host the conference in Dallas, Texas.

We cordially invite you and your family to attend the 26th annual ISDC, an event bringing together leaders from all sectors of the space and science community. ISDC provides a nexus for industry, government, scientists, advocates, and the public to meet and discuss the latest issues in space technology, science, policy, commerce, medicine, exploration, settlement and much more.

ISDC 2007 will feature many presentations, panel discussions, exhibits and activities that will span the entire spectrum of space-related issues.


    Pixel During Vertical Takeoff

  • Call for Volunteers for the 2007 ISDC -- ISDC is seeking volunteers in Dallas, Texas over Memorial Day weekend, May 25-28, 2007. Volunteers are needed during the conference for registration, setup and breakdown and in general coordination of the daily operation.  Click here for additional information.  
  • NASA is the Presenting Sponsor at ISDC. For the third consecutive year NASA will be sponsoring  ISDC. If your company would like to sponsor ISDC please contact Brett Silcox at or (202) 429-1600

  • Armadillo Aerospace will be bringing their Quad, a vertical takeoff and landing vehicle, to ISDC. The Quad vehicles were built by space entrepreneur John Carmack and his team from Armadillo Aerospace of Mesquite, Texas. One of the Quads, named "Pixel," recently competed in the Wirefly X Prize Cup in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
  • The Aerospace Technology Working Group (ATWG) will be holding their spring conference in conjunction with ISDC this year. The ATWG conference will run May 22-24 at the ISDC hotel. The theme will be, “Earth Orbit Support for Earth and Outgoing Exploration.” For additional information on ATWG and their spring conference click here.
